Misdemeanor DUIs

A DUI can happen to anyone, and the first time can be scary. There are many things to do quickly after getting arrested in order to help your case. The DUI penalties vary depending on whether it is your first, second or third DUI. A first-time DUI carries up to six months in jail, while second and third DUIs carry up to one year in jail. In addition to any jail sentence, the court will require you to attend a DUI school (First Offender Program or Multiple Offender Program) and pay a large fine.
